UNC Donation Drop-off sites

The Center for Health Equity Research (CHER) is working with our partner organizations in Eastern NC to determine how UNC can best support local relief efforts. There are clear immediate needs of basic supplies that our partner organizations in the east are providing to displaced residents.  In addition, we anticipate ongoing and long term needs during the clean-up phase once the flooding has subsided in different areas. CHER is partnering with UNC efforts led by the Center for Public Service and the American Indian Center to gather supplies requested by outreach agencies.  An up-to-date list of donations for communities in Nash & Edgecombe can be found on the Hurricane Relief page on the CHER website. CHER (323 McNider) will be a drop off site for goods, and we will deliver all donations to relief organizations in the region.  For monetary donations, please see the Center for Public Service website.  In addition if you know of organizations in Eastern NC that are serving residents in need, please send us an email (cher@unc.edu) so we can reach out to them.
